We went to a fantastic event put on by Intel x Vice back in July for The Creators Project. They’ve just sent us some details on an exciting opportunity for up and coming music producers.
We’re taking three musicians each, one from the United States, one from the United Kingdom, one from Brazil and flying them to NYC, putting them up in a fancy hotel, and setting them up in a fully equipped recording studio loft in Brooklyn for 5 days to let their musical hankerings run amok. All this will take place under the expert guidance of producer Mike Beck (Owl City, Semi-Precious Weapons, among many others)! Over the course of the week, these lucky 3 will collaborate on writing and recording 4 new tracks, the process for which we’ll be documenting right here on The Creators Project with all kinds of full-sensory behind-the-scenes magic.
VICE pay homage to their glorious past with their latest book entitled, THE WORLD ACCORDING TO VICE. The 26 x 20 cm hardcover book looks into the eclectic past of VICE and offer a retrospective look into how the Montreal-founded fanzine has now developed into a global multimedia empire. The book released a few days ago is available to buy from Amazon.
The Creators Project is a collaboration of efforts from Intel and Vice. Having already shaken up New York the project is coming to London and bringing with it a celebratory assemblage of musicians, artists, designers, panelists, filmmakers, food, and drink.
