2012 sees Vans celebrate 20 years of their popular Half Cab model. Every month Vans will be releasing a new limited edition version of the shoe. January sets things off with a very limited 20 pairs in collaboration with Supreme who take the shoe back to its owner Steve Caballero himself. A slightly unorthodox approach here as Cab will be hand-cutting and duck-taping down a pair of Caballero Highs, personally numbering and signing each pair in the limited collection.
They’ll be exclusively stocked at select Supreme stores worldwide.
Vans Japan has released a premium pack of goatskin Sk8 Hi’s. Tan coloured inner lining and matching leather logo tag on the tongue, a signature across the three different tonal colourways in this pack.

This Spring Vans will be releasing the Half Can Pro in an array of varsity jacket inspired colourways. Featuring college styled text, varsity jacket textures and suede uppers with matching two tone laces. The Half Cab is 18 years old but still looking fresh.

For the third time now Vans are back with another Legends Pack with input from Christian Hosoi. This time around Van’s Sk8 Hi Vert Pro model is getting a remix. Hosoi logo on the tongue, leather uppers and perforated side panels. Coming out in two colourways, red and black.

Proper owner, Tristan Caruso, has teamed up with Vans again for the ‘08 holiday season. Ongoing from several successful collaborations in the past. A ‘Proper’ twist has been put on the Native American, Chukka Del Barco LX and Authentic Low. Each will come in two different colourways. Very clean detailing and nice choice of materials.
