Takashi Murakami | The Gagosian, London

Last night saw the preview night of Takashi Murakami’s latest pieces at the Gagosian’s smaller London gallery on Davies Street. The space at The Gagosian held three large works – two paintings from Murakami’s Time Bokan series and one huge piece featuring many of the artist’s well known KaiKai and Kiki characters. The preview made even more special with Mr. Murakami being present in person talking with everyone, signing and even do some live body painting.

London’s show has been arranged to accompany Murakami’s major exhibition at Bilbao’s Guggenheim in Spain. It will run until 9 April so no excuse not to go down to take a look.
