Five Feet High and Rising | Film

A short film by Peter Sollett. Winner of the Short Filmmaking Award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2000. Five Feet High and Rising is centred around Victor, a 12 year-old boy growing up on New York City’s Lower East Side.

Tyson Trailer | Film

Tyson film trailer has been released, the feature length documentary received a standing ovation at its debut at Sundance last year. The film documents the rise and fall of Mike Tyson as accomplished by Oscar nominated filmmaker James Tobuck. Gaining a mixed reaction the film certainly gives insight into the boxer’s life.

Sony Pictures Classics will be bringing Tyson to a limited selection of cinemas soon.

“Tyson” Documentary by James Toback’s

MTV released this first look clip from the documentary about the infamous boxer Mike Tyson.  The documentary is told entirely in the lisping voice of the former boxing champion, covering times as a bullied and troubled youth, his battle against adversity to become the world’s boxing champion and the man’s public fall from grace. “Tyson” debuted at Sundance Film Festival last week, its first screening receiving a standing ovation.

The film is slated for commercial release on 24 April 2009.
