For the launch of the Rufige Kru’s latest LP, Memoirs of an Afterlife, last night we saw a heavyweight lineup take over D&B TV. Spectrasoul kicked things off with a moody solid set, Goldie played some heavy hitters whilst doing the robot, the BPM was taken down by Skream with a Dubstep set and finally Flight went through a priceless crate full of old school classics. Unfortunately Loxy was unable to make it but DJ Loxy turning up in the end; going dark and dirty with his selection. A top session which was all captured on video, check it out at D&BTV.
An informative Dubstep documentary, created two years ago by Mike and Mark of the Mashup Mafia Living Inside the Speaker has recently been released for free download. Being somewhat Bristol-centric it features words from Pinch, Peverelist and HENCH Crew as well as Skream plus others. It is well recommended that you take some time to watch this one.
