Vans Japan has released a premium pack of goatskin Sk8 Hi’s. Tan coloured inner lining and matching leather logo tag on the tongue, a signature across the three different tonal colourways in this pack.

The Honeyee blog is here again, bringing back previous bloggers as well as some new personalities. Interestingly the producer Pharrell Williams has been drafted on board. The visionary behind the Ice Cream and BBC fashion labels has yet to post anything but is undoubtedly a nice new addition. Industry leaders Hiroshi Fujiwara, Hiroki Nakamura and Shinsuke Takizawa, as well as others rejoin the Honeyee blogging collective giving their reader’s upfront news.

Label headman Danny Broddle says ‘This is dark sexploitation without being over-bearing. I like the idea of something being appealing from afar but inspiring up close’. This is the exclusive ‘Doraemon’ t-shirt designed with Japanese store Loveless.

The Japanese photographer and architect Kazuhiko Kawahara uses digital manipulation to transform landscapes and infrastructures. Kawahara acts as a human kaleidoscope changing normal formations into blended patterns. Using lines, repetition and depth he creates images which please the eye and are yet complex enough to engage longer pockets of interest.

We’ve got some images and details about volume 7 of honeyee.mag’s. The issue will focus on the “Next Things” in regards to Japanese streetwear. The magazine will feature interviews with Fragment design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara and Hiroki Nakamura from Visvim.
