StreetFest Video

The people at StreetFest put on another great party this bank holiday weekend. The main stage headlined by Mr Hudson but strong performances from Ty, Reeps 1 and the End of the Weak MCs really got the people going. Outside a hyped crowd gathered around a group of b-boys, also enjoying the sunshine were graffers and artists who worked throughout the day on their pieces. Back inside skaters took turns on a specially constructed half pipe, and around the way, a well stocked street market and cinema. Where else could you have spent your Sunday?

Check out the video for our highlights, photos coming too. Hold tight!

Banksy and “Art Fags” Attacked

banksy-vandalised-gillette-motorway

We posted images of two New Banksy’s that popped up in Gillette Square, Dalston and by the North Circular Road in Hendon. Both of which have since been painted over. The wall in Dalston has been painted over by the not so anonymous, Alex (pictured over the link), writing in blue “Love Not Money”. On Gillette Square another lick of paint is credited to a graffer named 10 Foot, adding the words “Say No To Art Fags” and “RIP Ozone, F*ck Banksy” (pictured left). Whilst by the motorway near Hendon (pictured right) someone has painted “Price-less” over the original artists monetarily valuable work.

The defacing of the Dalston piece is actually the most recent of many by 10 Foot and Tox. More commentary over the jump on further attacks on work by Banksy, Part2ism and Best Ever.

clifford-price-goldie-grafitti-3

With the public paying for the recession off the back of the greedy few. Property prices have fallen as it becomes harder to get credit. Interest rates have been lowered to discourage savers into spending to fix the economy. It is obvious why Clifford-Price & Associates have new marketing messages to share. Clifford Price is the legal name for the old school graffer, musical pioneer and last years real Maestro, Goldie. Is it really the legally named Clifford Price or a pretender? Call the number and decide yourself.

More pics over the way.

Glow Graffiti

glow-graffiti

The product is called “Glow Graffiti”, it allows you to create whatever your mind can imagine in a glow in the dark format. Not exactly glow in the dark spray-paint as the name suggests but more along the lines of UV light technology packaged up with a graffiti twist to help market it. The pack comes with a battery powered UV torch which charges up the 70cm x 70cm glow in the dark fabric sheet, and stencils to help you spell out words and things.

Probably not a new artistic movement but at least a new gadget to play around with and show your mates.
