Future Banger: Hyetal & Shortstuff – Ice Cream/Don’t Sleep (Punch Drunk)

Hyetal and Shortstuff come together to kick off an exciting year of releases coming from Bristol’s Punch Drunk record label. This 12″ is the label’s first collaborative release, whilst it also welcomes an out of town producer, Shortstuff from Hertforshire. Ice Cream (no it isn’t buffering, let it play) and Don’t Sleep are well worth adding to the crate for 2010.

Future Banger: Lenzman Sugar Hill/Memory Loss (CIA Deep Kut)

Lenzman is back again alongside the boys at CIA, after the huge Soul Patrol remix comes another strong release on CIA’s Deep Kut label.

Sugar Hill is a nice roller typical of the producer’s style, solid beats on the drop and soulful vocal samples which will get your hands in the air and make hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

On the flip is Memory Loss, minimal in sound but interesting throughout, Lenzman melts together interspersed vocals, synths and bongo rhythms.
