Hyetal and Shortstuff come together to kick off an exciting year of releases coming from Bristol’s Punch Drunk record label. This 12″ is the label’s first collaborative release, whilst it also welcomes an out of town producer, Shortstuff from Hertforshire. Ice Cream (no it isn’t buffering, let it play) and Don’t Sleep are well worth adding to the crate for 2010.

Hackman comes in at 130 BPM with this mix, originally put together for Rinse FM’s Blackdown. This small village kid had music pushed upon him from an early age, learning to play piano and violin. Currently progressing his talent further on a production course at the Leeds College of Music. Hackman’s mix showcases his strong production output, a guy to watch out for.
