Here’s a short which spends one day at Cordy House. Featured is 2008’s urban artist of the year, Matty Small, who talks about the term “street artist” and his work. Best Ever and Part2ism take their talents to the iconic wall above the Cordy House to create something special for the cameras. Recognise it?
Cordy House (remember the Mutate Britain show in 2008?) is to be closed and knocked down. Before it becomes no more, Dr D has popped back to rework the shutters one last time. One angle makes who is responsible quite obvious, whilst from another angle it suggests “How To Kill Lady Gaga” (which previously read “Home Taping Is Killing Music”). Get it?
Dr D has been busy working on billboards and on this one outside Cordy House. The images are photofits of a pair of wanted criminals, Gordon Brown and David Cameron. Check out the railway side billboards over the jump.
