A really great documentary from the people of R+I Creative.. It features influencers from across New York’s creative industries. The mention of Hiroshi Fujiwara from outside of New York got us thinking, who would feature in a London version of this?

The BBC’s take on Jungle music from way back in the nineties. Some old footage being dug up, with words from the likes of DJ Rap, Fabio (the hair!), LTJ Bukem, UK Apache and Shy FX. The end of the video sees a discussion on “going commercial” with General Levy taking some heat. Man of the moment, Alix Perez, has put together a 20 track selection for Don’t Stay In. Big in the game, everybody not only knowing the name but also how to spell it. He’s just released the 1984 album and if you’re in the area pop down to BM Soho for the launch party tonight!
The slightly trippy video is in promotion of Mary Anne Hobbs’ forthcoming compilation, Wild Angels. The BBC Radio 1 host has once again put together a great selection of bass driven music, but expect a substantial serving of Dubstep on this one.
