Kahn has been seeing a fair amount of recognition after dropping a 12″ on Peverelist’s Punch Drunk label last month. Part of the Bristol sound alongside names such as Gemmy, Superisk and Vessel, he makes up a valued part of the Sure Skank collective. Mount Kimbie are feeling generous, giving away a free digital download for you to enjoy. Baves Chords is the last release from their debut Crooks And Lovers album project released last year. Expect to hear the duo’s signature stuttered beats and well versed craftmenship that has made them so likeable. If you want it on plastic it will be released on 27 June as part of the Carbonated EP.

5 time DMC World Champ, DJ Craze, takes to his golden DMC / Technics turntables hooked up to the newly released Traktor Scratch Pro 2. Scratches and juggles whilst firing off various samples and triggering cue points with his signature white Maschine.
Here is a 90 minute mix ahead of Appleblim’s Room 1 appearance at Fabric on 12 March. The Bristol based producer obsessed with music takes influence from dubstep, techno, deep house and UK garage. Neighbourhood has been put together by Tasha (former Medium night promoter) so you can be confident in the night’s music policy. Thicket is an audiovisual app created for the iPad. Manipulate different graphics with your fingers, each touch changing the audio samples being played. The ability to add layers to the loop allows for some interesting results. Now in version 2, you can also easily switch between modes of play by rotating the iPad.
