The End Reopening

The End reopening? Yes… rumours have been circulating of the reopening of The End. It is thought that property developers pulled out of the deal and did not go through with their vision of turning the space into flats. We get more in-depth over the jump.

So if the rumours are true what is in store for The End? The legendary club drew in crowds from across the divisions of underground music, whilst DJ’s enjoyed playing amongst the crowd in the main room.  With the likes of DJ Marky & Friends, RAM, Swerve and Renegade Hardware already finding new homes as well as a new management, is it realistic to expect The End to be as good as before? Special T claims to be holding a “Big In The Dance” night at the club next month and has said that The End is “gonna be better than before”. On the flipside many headz at Drum&BassArena are not getting their hopes up, fearing that the future of the club will be overrun by clownstep and wobble anthems.

If the information is true then what could be in store for The End this year? Maybe we will see the return of Brighton based Shogun Audio? How about Digital Soundboys hosting a night? Not forgetting FWD bringing some good Dubstep to the table.

Mixed views over what it may become, but if you’ve been there you’ll understand what it could be, and we think that’s definitely an exciting prospect!
