Zhong Biao Contemporary Chinese Artist
Gong xi fat choi! Today is the start of a new Chinese year so we thought we would mark this occasion by covering the contemporary Chinese artist, Zhong Biao.

Zhong attended Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now China Academy of Fine Arts) in Hangzhou, China. Since then he has had his work in the international spotlight. Known for his projection of the relationships between the past, the present, and the future, his pieces highlight the changing of historical objects as they move through time. His more recent work holds luring attempts to grab attention with attractive women and bright arresting colours, but these should not distract from the cultural signatures which are boldly centred in his work.
